Patient Services Coordinator

Kathryn has worked in the medical field for more than 6 years and is our patients' expert guide to the practice. Her goal is to create a pleasant and satisfying experience for every patient every time they visit us, whether through a visit or a phone call. And she can get the answer to all practice-related questions. We are pretty certain that we have patients scheduling appointments just to come in and visit with Kathryn! Kathryn has lived in Colorado for 32 years, and grew up in a small town in Utah, where there were only 50 families. She is married and has three wonderful children. When Kathryn is not at work, she loves to travel, read, knit, and garden.

 
Karen Jouvenat
Registered Nurse

Karen is a Registered Nurse with over 24 years of advanced nursing in Critical Care and the Emergency Department. Karen's experience as a charge nurse in high pressure situations has fostered an impressive air of quiet confidence. Her skill as the go-to-girl for difficult IV placements, coupled with her aesthetic sense, makes her a natural with our injectable procedures, such as Botox, Juvéderm, Radiesse® and Sculptra®. Karen has advanced training in skin care products and services, including Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels and Dermaplaning. She is married with three teenage children. After living on a ship that traveled around the world, she has acquired a passion for travel, and also enjoys scuba diving, biking, and volleyball.

 
Shanna Rael
Registered Nurse

Shanna joins our aesthetic team as a certified nurse injector and all around care provider. She acquired a wealth and variety of care experiences since earning her nursing degree in 1997 including six years of ICU care, hospital pre- and post-operative expertise. Shanna has been a nurse educator and trainer. You will sense the self-assured yet compassionate, reassuring nature that these credentials instill. Shanna extends her artistry, dexterity and creativity as a stained glass artist into her aesthetic procedures. Her medical acumen combined with inherent talent and an aesthetic eye makes her a natural in our practice. She loves her time at home with her husband, daughter and son.

 
Karen Fox
Registered Nurse First Assistant

Karen is our Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant, who has worked in the Department of Surgery and the Emergency Department for more than 11 years. She joined Dr. Atagi and her team in December of 2006. Karen spends much of her time in the operating room assisting Dr. Atagi with surgical procedures, in addition to caring for patients pre- and post-operatively. She also treats her own aesthetic patients. Karen's energy, warmth and commitment foster a relationship of trust and reassurance throughout our patients' experiences with us. Karen has advanced training in skin care, and Botox. In her free time, Karen enjoys many outdoor activities, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.

 
Carly Mulhern
Medical Aesthetician

Carly recently joined our Atagi Skin team as our medical esthetician. After graduating from The College of International Esthetics near Denver, Colorado, she launched her career as a lead esthetician by joining a cosmetic surgery practice in Southern California. Her move to Denver has given our patients the benefit of her extensive experience there. Her passion for healthy skincare is enhanced by her ability to personally connect with her patients. By establishing a trusting bond with patients, Carly is able to develop a personalized skincare routine uniquely designed for the individual. In her free time, Carly enjoys art, yoga, spending time with her family and walking her dog Rollie.

 
Cristina Hulley
Patient Coordinator

Cristina Hulley will be your guide. As your Patient Coordinator, she will ensure that you feel comfortable and cared for through every step of your rejuvenation. Cristina is new to our practice but brings with her 5 years of in-depth Plastic Surgery and Dermatology experience. Her solid scientific foundation begins with a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois. Her significant surgical and clinical experience as a certified Medical Assistant offers a wealth of knowledge of the entire surgical process to our patients. Her position as our Patient Coordinator is to educate and answer any question you may have and shepherd you through your procedure. Cristina has been in Colorado for 5 years and has developed a love for skiing. She also enjoys hiking with her husband and Golden Retriever, Wrigley, as well as traveling, painting, and the occasional storm chasing!

 
Patricia McIntyre
Patient Coordinator

Patricia "Trish" McIntyre is an integral part of our frontline team as one of our Patient Care Coordinators. Trish, initially, agreed out of the goodness of her heart, to step in temporarily and has been with us ever since. We are all so very fortunate to have her bright can-do attitude and demeanor as she also brings with her, years of plastic surgery experience. She is happy to share with you the ins and outs of our products and services and assist you in any way. Originally from small town Nebraska, Trish has been in Colorado since 1968. She loves reading, cooking, riding her scooter and spending free time with her wonderful husband and daughter. Trish enjoys seeing what a difference our practice makes in our patients' appearance, confidence and demeanor.

 
Kerri Norris
Patient Coordinator

Kerri's career has come full circle as she returns to her true calling and passion -- working with and caring for people. Kerri acquired a broad array of medical experience and expertise beginning as a registered dental assistant 25 years ago. Since that time, she has been certified as an emergency medical technician (EMT) and massage therapist (CMT). Time in the management and telecommunication industries has made her an expert in organization, management and customer service. You will immediately sense Kerri's enthusiasm and commitment as your patient coordinator and be confident in her care as she shepherds you through your transformation. When Kerri is not working, she enjoys time in the great Colorado outdoors running, hiking and walking with her husband, daughter, son and dog, Jaeger.

 
Tami Frazzini
Certified Medical Assistant

Tami is our Certified Medical Assistant. Tami first joined the Atagi team as an intern in 2010 and is now a permanent member of the staff. Her "only" primary duty is to be girl Friday for all of our patients and the entire Atagi Aesthetics team! She has over a decade of customer service experience working for a major airline and also took several years off to stay at home and raise her family. Tami is omnipresent as she supports our patients throughout all aspects of their experience including pre- and post-operative care. Tami was born in Texas, but grew up in both California and Colorado. She is married with two teenage daughters and a young son and enjoys keeping up with all their activities, travel, and reading.

 
Laura Oliver
Office Manager

Laura has been working in the medical field since 1998, and has been with Dr. Atagi since 2003. Simultaneously pursuing her BA in Office Management, while gaining critical work experience, she has successfully, and sometime simultaneously, filled multiple roles within our practice. Laura has worked in a variety of elective-care medical practices, and has extensive experience in almost every aspect of the practice, from Patient Services Coordinator and Patient Coordinator, to Billing, Scheduling, and now, Office Manager. Laura's congenial personality and expertise in medical administration give her tremendous insight and problem-solving skills to maintain our efficacious and happy practice. A Colorado native, Laura enjoys many outdoor activities, as well as traveling and scrapbooking.
