In addition, our clinical team recommends avoiding aspirin-based products and alcohol for 1 week prior to any injectable treatment. This will help prevent unnecessary bruising and swelling.
Also, when you schedule your treatment, please inform our office if you have a history of cold sores. Many treatments we perform can cause a cold sore, but as long we know your history, we can be proactive and prevent one before it begins.
