Eyelid Lift (Blepharoplasty)
Overview / Procedure FAQs / Post-Operative Instructions
In the words of renowned poet, Henry David Thoreau, "The eye is the jewel of the body."

Unfortunately, the delicate skin framing and protecting the eyes is often the first to show signs of aging. So, rejuvenating your eyes can be one of the most gratifying procedures.

An Upper Eyelid Lift can be performed under a local anesthetic in Dr. Atagi's office. It typically takes approximately 1 hour, requiring minimal downtime. During the Upper Eyelid Lift procedure, Dr. Atagi will remove excess skin that hangs over your eyelashes or eyes, and may even be impairing your vision. The small incision is hidden within the natural fold of your eyelid.

A Lower Eyelid Lift removes excess skin and tightens the lower lids to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles there. It also rids the eyes of any puffiness or "bags". Thus, the natural beauty of your eyes is restored.
