Dr. Tanya A. Atagi, MD, FACS
Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon | Founder
Dr. Tanya Atagi founded Atagi Plastic Surgery & Skin Aesthetics in 2003 with a vision to provide comprehensive, personalized care that honors each patient’s unique goals. A Stanford Medical School graduate with fellowship training in aesthetics, Dr. Atagi is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and holds the Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) designation.
As one of the few female board-certified plastic surgeons serving Lone Tree and the greater Denver area, Dr. Atagi combines surgical precision with an artist’s eye for natural beauty. She personally performs all surgical procedures and oversees the clinical direction of the practice, ensuring every patient receives care that reflects her standards for safety, artistry, and results.

Melissa 'Missy' Doty, RN
Registered Nurse
Missy holds nearly 20 years of experience in laser and medical aesthetics, ranging from dermatology to plastic surgery & everything in between. She started in the medical world as an aesthetician and then went back to school for her nursing degree. She completed an 18 month injectable internship at a 5 star medical/surgical aesthetic practice. She has also worked as a first assist, and providing pre/post op care. She has spent the last 2 years honing her injectable skills. She is currently working towards becoming a nurse practitioner.
Kristen Genzlinger, RN, BSN
Registered Nurse
Kristen has a bachelor’s degree in human biology from the University of Kansas and BSN from the University of Colorado. She has been a registered nurse in acute care for 14 years. Originally from Kansas and big KU Jayhawk fan, Kristen has lived in Colorado since 2009. She lives in Lakewood with her husband, Owen. Together they enjoy skiing, camping, flying and live music, especially if it can be enjoyed under the Colorado sky at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Kira Hansen
Nurse Practitioner | CRNFA | Certified Hair Loss Practitioner
Kira brings 29 years of extensive experience in the medical field, with nearly two decades (19 years) specializing in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1996 and has worked across various nursing disciplines. Her early career was rooted in emergency medicine and the operating room, where she developed a passion for surgery and a strong desire to assist in surgical procedures. This passion drove her to further her education, earning a master’s degree, becoming a Certified Nurse Practitioner, and obtaining specialized surgical training along with the Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant credential. For the past 19 years, Kira has been a dedicated assistant to Dr. Atagi, overseeing surgical procedures and managing the surgical aspects of the practice. Kira has a particular interest in hair restoration, holding multiple certifications including that of Certified Hair Loss Practitioner. Kira also was accepted to and completed an 87-week evidence-based hair loss fellowship with renowned hair restoration expert, Dr. Jeffrey Donovan. Additionally, she is trained in various regenerative medicine therapies, including Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF), and peptide therapies, further broadening her expertise in non-invasive treatment options. Outside of her professional pursuits, Kira enjoys outdoor activities—especially mountain biking—and values quality time with her husband, daughter, and two rescue pups.

Caitlin Bickler
Aesthetician, Laser Technician, Ultherapist, and Medical Assistant
Caitlin is a New Jersey native but has been a Colorado-lover since 2015. She is a graduate of Jersey Shore Beauty Academy, Make-Up Designery in New York City, School of Botanical and Medical Aesthetics, and Clear Skin Laser Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. She has always been keenly interested in skin care techniques and esthetics. Caitlin has been with Dr. Atagi’s team since 2015 and is a certified aesthetician and laser technician who provides a broad range of age-defying services including laser skin treatments, microneedling and Ultherapy® skin tightening. She takes a personal interest in each of her patients and carefully walks them through each step of the process to achieve the best possible outcomes. To provide the latest and best for her patients, Caitlin went back to school to receive her Medical Assisting Certificate. When she is not making people look younger, Caitlin enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, camping and traveling with her husband and Australian Shepherd.
Elise Wilkins
Aesthetician
Elise graduated from Beautiful You Skincare Academy where she found her passion for results driven skincare. She approaches aesthetics with compassion, careful listening & education. Her goal is to create a safe & collaborative environment with her patients. Her background is in holistic aesthetics as well as makeup artistry. She understands the importance of caring for the mind & body and will work to encourage this as well as results. Outside of the treatment room, Elise is a social butterfly who enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family.
Pam Peppard, CMT
Certified Massage Therapist
After graduating from Wichita State University with a degree in fine arts and spending twenty years as a graphic designer, Pam decided to go in a different direction. Pam chose to merge her love of working with her hands and helping people to become a truly incredible masseuse. She has performed pain-relieving therapeutic Lymphatic treatments with the Atagi Plastic Surgery and Skin Aesthetics team since 2007. Pam enjoys gardening, reading, home renovations, and spending time with her family.
Rachel Flowers, RMA
Registered Medical Assistant
Rachel is a Colorado native and has been working in the medical field for 15 years. She has always had a passion for helping others, and knew in the medical setting she could do just that. She is excited and eager to help others work towards the same goal; living a healthier, more fulfilled life. She understands this is accomplished through an individualized treatment plan for each and every person and is committed to helping each patient throughout their healthcare journey. When Rachel is not in the office she spends her time with her husband and 3 children doing anything outside or exploring somewhere/something new together!

Laura Oliver
Practice Manager
Laura has been working with Dr. Atagi since 2001, and can often be found performing multiple jobs simultaneously within our office. Laura has a degree in Organizational Development and has extensive experience in almost all aspects of the practice, including patient services, billing, scheduling, and now, office management. Her lighthearted personality, problem-solving expertise, and commitment to cultivating an environment of compassion and professionalism is truly the backbone of Atagi Plastic Surgery and Skin Aesthetics. In her spare time, Laura enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, as well as traveling and gardening.
Chauncy Petro
Surgical Patient Coordinator
Chauncy is one of the first friendly faces you will meet at Atagi Aesthetics. As our Patient Coordinator, Chauncy will be your guide throughout your entire cosmetic surgery journey, beginning with educating you on procedures over the phone or via email. During your consultation, she will explain your plan in detail and present financing options if needed. Once you decide to move forward with surgery, she will guide you through your procedure and all pre and post-op appointments. Originally from Oshkosh, Nebraska, Chauncy has worked in the aesthetic industry since 2009. Having worked as a director for cosmetology colleges in both Nebraska and Colorado, she enjoys coaching and guiding people in order to help them achieve their goals. When she’s not at work, Chauncy enjoys spending time with her husband Creighton, daughter Remington, and son Lincoln. They enjoy traveling back home to her family ranch and visiting Lake McConaughy.
Faith Rhein
Patient Service Coordinator
Faith was born in a small town in North Dakota. In the summer of 2007, she moved to Colorado with her mom. Faith is fairly new to the plastic surgery world as she worked in a law firm for almost four years before coming to Atagi Plastic Surgery and Skin Aesthetics. Faith currently lives in Parker, Colorado with her husband, two children and her dog. Outside of work, her hobbies include four-wheeling and snowmobiling, but most importantly, she loves spending time with her family.
Jennifer 'Jen' Egri
Patient Service Coordinator
Jennifer is a Colorado native who has worked in a customer-service role since 1998. She first started working for a medical office for skin care as a front desk assistant in 2001. This is where she found her love of skin care and the desire to continue helping people in this environment. Jennifer has also been a stay-at-home mom and has raised four daughters with her husband. She is a very family-oriented individual and loves to spend time with her family and friends in the mountains.
Leila Martin
Patient Service Coordinator
Leila is a Colorado native who’s been in healthcare for 18 years. She has spent the past 16 years working in Sleep Medicine, helping her patients get a better night’s rest. After being diagnosed with a scary medical condition at a young age and receiving the best care from her nursing team, Leila’s passion for helping others through their healthcare journey developed. She is an enthusiastic person who loves being a mom and reading a good book when her busy life allows her to.

Your first visit begins with a conversation. Depending on the nature of your interest, you may meet with Dr. Atagi, one of our Registered Nurses, or a member of our aesthetics team. We take time to listen to your goals, review your concerns, and walk you through your options honestly. You will leave with a clear picture of your path forward and no obligation to proceed. Initial injectable, laser, and skincare consultations are complimentary.
Dr. Atagi personally performs all surgical procedures and serves as Medical Director of the practice. For non-surgical treatments, our trained nurses and aestheticians work under her clinical oversight to ensure every treatment meets our standards for safety and results.
We accept all major credit cards and offer financing through CareCredit, Cherry, and PatientFi. Our team is happy to discuss financing options during your consultation.
